Wrestlers Protest: Brij Bhushan Singh said – Full faith in Delhi Police, Congress is behind the strike

Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh has spoken after the FIR was lodged against him. He has expressed full faith in the judiciary and the Delhi Police. Along with this, allegations have been made of Congress being behind the strike. Brij Bhushan said that there has been talk of filing an FIR. I do not have a copy of the FIR right now. But the FIR must have been done. I don\'t see anything wrong with it. I have full faith in Delhi Police. I don\'t have any complaints. I am completely innocent. I am ready to face these charges. I am ready to cooperate in the investigation wherever the investigating agency deems fit. I had faith before, I still have faith today. No one is above the Supreme Court. I have full faith in this. I and my supporters will get justice. For the past several months, I have had to face abuse upon abuse and allegations upon allegations. This hurts my family and my supporters. Justice should be done in this matter soon.

He further said, \"I have faith in the judicial process of the country. If you listen to his old statements, you will know that he had demanded to resign from the post. My term has been completed. The government has constituted a committee of three people. Elections are to be held in 40-45 days. My tenure will end anyway. But there is no question of resignation. My resignation will be done as it is, but not like a criminal. It was on his insistence that the inquiry committee was formed. The person was also included in the inquiry committee, which I objected to. When he realized that none of the allegations were being proved in the inquiry committee, he did not even wait for the report of the committee and went straight to the Supreme Court. They have taken a new case to the Supreme Court. The minors with whom these people have gone, why have they not appeared before the inquiry committee? These four women will instigate people against me, instigate them, and file a case against me. Come on, I don\'t have a problem with that too, it is the job of the investigating agency.

Accusing the wrestlers, Brij Bhushan said, \"Their demands are also increasing continuously. First demanded FIR. Then demanded their resignation. Demanded to be put in jail. So I did not get this Lok Sabha MP from Vinesh Phogat. I have not got the post of President of the Wrestling Association by his grace. I have got this post by contesting elections. For 12 years only they are  harassed, why not other players? Why is only one family in Haryana? An arena, One family. Why not the players of Haryana, Himachal, and other states? Why - because I have worked.\"

Why did these players who are sitting on Dharna call me? An industrialist and the Congress have a hand in this whole matter. I have not mentioned the name of the industrialist. It is the hand of some industrialists, who have trouble with me. Today it was also visible whose hand it was. When their demand that FIR has to be lodged has been accepted, then why are they raising it? Why did Kejriwal, Satyapal Malik, and Priyanka Gandhi need to be called? Arey, at least the Congress people would have waited for the investigation report, then they would have reached Jantar Mantar. This is not a protest of players, some conspiratorial people want to harm my party and me. You are seeing that at the behest of the players, such a person was included in the dharna, who did not have to participate. Because he had permitted to protest. This matter is under the supervision of the Supreme Court and the Delhi Police. The inquiry committee is talking to the girls. Among the children who have appeared before the Commission, no child has filed an FIR against me.

They say that I have to save wrestling. The Asia Junior Championship was allotted to our country. He got it canceled by writing a letter. Women\'s camp was going on. He had to be trained. He had to leave because of them. Is this how he saved wrestling?
