America will hold trilateral meeting with Japan and South Korea, will talk on the defense of Indo-Pacific region

The White House, the residence and office of the US President, announced on Tuesday that US National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan with his counterparts from Japan and South Korea in Hawaii on September 1. Tripartite talks.

 

The Indo-Pacific region is still in crisis because of the military exercises started by China there after the visit of Nancy Pelosi, Speaker of the House of Representatives of the US Parliament. The meeting assumes significance because of the escalating tensions here.

 

"Jake Sullivan will meet with Akiba Takeo, Secretary General of the National Security Secretariat of Japan, and Kim Sung-Han, Director of the Office of National Security of the Republic of Korea, on September 1 at the headquarters of the United States Indo-Pacific Command in Honolulu, Hawaii," the White House said. '

 

It has been told that there will be a bilateral meeting on 31 August. Sullivan will then visit the United States Indo-Pacific Command to discuss alliances to protect a free and open Indo-Pacific region.

 

A day before this, there was talk of organizing a conference on behalf of the White House. The conference, to be held on 28 September, is the first of its kind in nearly 50 years.

 

White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said on Monday, 'We will announce a strategy at the national level at this conference on hunger, health, and nutrition. In this, the work to be done by the government in the private and government sectors to bring change in these sectors and to promote it will be identified.
