This NGO was created by Chinese citizen and activist-journalist Liu Feiu.

China tortures women too

In 2018, a woman threw ink on a photo of President Xi-Jinping. After this, there were reports of the woman going missing. After some time it came to know that he was admitted to the psychiatric hospital. Not only this but an army jawan was also tortured in the same way. He was injured while serving. He had filed a petition for medical compensation.

Victims being removed from legal rights

The report said that the legal rights of Chinese activists are being taken away. He is being removed from the justice system by being admitted to a psychiatric hospital. No cases are tried against them, they are not allowed to meet a lawyer and no hearing is held. He is being proved to be a mental patient so after coming out of the hospital, his connection with society is broken.

Most of the victims belong to the weaker section

The report said that most of the victims belong to the weaker section of society. People who don't have power. Among them, several petitioners are more, who raise their voices against the wrong, but they do not have both the strength and the money to fight the government. That's why sending them to a psychiatric hospital has become a common practice in China.
