Delhi High Court Bomb Threat: An email with a bomb threat was received in Delhi High Court, causing panic; the premises were evacuated.

The Delhi High Court received a bomb threat via email on Friday. As soon as the email was received, there was a stir in the court premises. As a precaution, the High Court premises have been evacuated. Police and investigation agencies reached the spot immediately after getting the information. The email going viral on social media says that 'Three bombs have been placed in the judge's room/court premises. Evacuate it by 2 pm.' Earlier, from time to time, similar threats of bombing have been received in different schools via email. But the police did not find anything suspicious during the investigation.

 

More than 100 schools have received similar threats between January and August this year.

According to Delhi Police data, more than 100 educational institutions in Delhi-NCR have received similar threats between January and August. These include institutions like DPS Vasant Vihar, Amity School Saket, Salwan Public School, Modern School, Vasant Valley School, St. Stephen's College, and Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC).
