Earthquake in Delhi: Earthquake tremors in Delhi-NCR, epicenter was in Faridabad, Haryana

Earthquake in Delhi-NCR: Earthquake tremors have been felt once again in Delhi-NCR. These tremors were felt in the capital Delhi and the surrounding cities of Faridabad, Gurugram, Ghaziabad, and Noida. The intensity of the earthquake was 3.1 on the Richter Scale.

According to the information, earthquake tremors were felt at 4.08 p.m. The epicenter of the earthquake was Faridabad district of Haryana. Earlier, the earthquake had occurred in Delhi-NCR on 3rd October this month.

 

There were strong tremors on October 3.

There was an earthquake in the surrounding cities including Delhi-NCR on October 3. During that time people felt strong tremors of the earthquake. People had come out of their homes and offices. Earthquake tremors occurred at 02:51 in the afternoon. The intensity of the earthquake during that time was 6.2. The epicenter of the earthquake that occurred in the afternoon was in Nepal.

According to Nepal's National Seismological Centre, earthquake tremors were felt thrice in the country within an hour. Strong earthquakes of 6.3 and 5.3 magnitude occurred in the western parts of the country. Due to this many buildings were damaged.

 

How to protect yourself from earthquakes

 

As soon as you feel a slight vibration after an earthquake, stand on the road or in an open area outside your house, office, or closed building. Do not use the lift at all.

Remove the gas cylinder and main electric switch from the house.

Neither drive nor travel in vehicles.

Stand somewhere safe and covered.

Do not stand near any deep place, well, pond, river, sea, and weak and old house.
