Due to farmer agitation on the borders with Delhi, there has been a case of delay in reaching the tankers filled with oxygen. It is being told that due to farmer agitation, the oxygen tanker is arriving late. The protesting farmers dismissed the allegations. BJP MP Pravesh Verma on Tuesday night alleged that the supply of medical oxygen in Delhi has been affected due to road blockade by farmers. However, according to the tanker driver, soon the oxygen tanker was evacuated and the roads were emptied with the readiness of the farmers. The oxygen tanker reached the capital of Disha in Delhi 2-3 hours earlier due to no jam. The oxygen tanker driver told that the farmers' movement is going on along the Ghazipur border, but on seeing the oxygen tanker, the farmer brothers quickly cleared the way. According to media sources, there was a shortage of oxygen at Balaji Hospital in Delhi, oxygen was supplied from the plant of Uttar Pradesh in a hurry. On Monday night, the police made a green corridor and transported two oxygen tankers (19,500 liters of liquid oxygen) to Balaji Hospital in Paschim Vihar. Police said oxygen tankers were stranded at the border due to traffic jams. But it was removed from thereby creating a green corridor.
Wrong propaganda against farmers
The United Kisan Morcha, representing the farmers' organizations, said that from the very first day of the agitation, they have left one way open for emergency services. Not a single ambulance or essential goods service has been stopped. It is being propagated against the farmers that they have blocked the roads. Rather, the central government has installed barricades on the roads. Farmers are fighting for human rights and they support the rights of every human being. "
The companies wrote a letter to the center
However, gas suppliers are claiming to waste two to three hours due to the farmers' agitation. The oxygen tankers do not get the way from the farmer's movement on the Delhi border. Which takes more time to reach here. The companies supplying oxygen have written a letter to the central government about this. In the letter, the companies said that if the road is open, then the tankers filled with oxygen will reach Delhi in a short time.
Demand to build a green corridor
Significantly, due to increasing cases of corona in Delhi, there has been a huge shortage of oxygen, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had sought help from the central government for the lack of oxygen. But due to ongoing farmer movements in and around Delhi, there is a problem in supplying gas. Aam Aadmi Party workers are being accused of supporting the peasant movement. Inbox Air Products Ltd. wrote a letter to the central government that oxygen was being supplied from the Oxygen plants at Panipat in Uttar Pradesh and Haryana, but tankers had to wait for several hours due to farmers' demonstrations at the Singhu border in Delhi. The company has demanded the government to build a green corridor here.
