Coordination with all states for vaccines
Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced to vaccinate people over 18 years of age from May 1 across the country. Several other responsible departments, including the Union Health Ministry and the Home Ministry, have been continuously working on the scheme for the last few months. A senior official of the committee implementing the vaccination scheme across the country told that it is their best effort to vaccinate the corona vaccine to the entire population of 18 years of age across the country by the next three and a half months i.e. 15 August. According to the said officer, coordination has been done with all the states of the country for this.
13.5 crore people have been vaccinated so far
According to sources in the Union Health Ministry, only two companies have vaccines available in our country. Despite this, about 135 million people have been vaccinated so far. Departmental officials say that in the next few days, many vaccines will be available in different countries around the world, due to which the speed of vaccination drive will be very fast. According to a senior member of the committee that is advancing the process of vaccination in the country, the plan is that more than one million vaccination centers should be set up in all the provinces. For this, guidelines have been issued to all the states, states have started implementing the schemes at their level and the entire detail is being given to the Union Health Ministry.
Apart from this, the central government is preparing to vaccinate the people from house to house wherever they are. For this, the team working at the ground level of the Health Department of the states is also being trained. Apart from this, the social organizations and corporate groups who want to help in this process have also been asked by the central government to come forward.
