President Draupadi Murmu: 'Moral education should be included in the curriculum'- President Draupadi Murmu

During his visit to Telangana, President Draupadi Murmu on Tuesday said that children should be given moral education to make them good citizens. She was addressing students and teachers of Keshav Memorial Educational Society at a function organized under 'Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav'.

 

'Parents pay more attention to curriculum due to competition'

President Draupadi Murmu said that parents also pay attention to the syllabus taught in their books to the children because of the competition. The President said I say everywhere that moral education should be added to our curriculum, our system. If moral education is given from the beginning, it will help in building a good society. She was answering a student's question that in the absence of the study of moral values, unwanted incidents are happening in society.

 

The change will benefit students individually

He expressed confidence that the implementation of the National Education Policy 2020 will lead to the creation of a student-centered education system to foster critical thinking and creativity. This change will not only benefit the students individually but will also contribute to the overall progress and development of the nation.

 

Demonstrate integrity, fairness, and competence through actions

President Draupadi Murmu on Tuesday said that police officers should demonstrate integrity, impartiality, courage, competence, and sensitivity through their actions. Addressing the 74th batch of trainees at the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy, the President said that the police is the most visible arm of the government.
