According to Skymet Weather, the minimum temperature in Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Orissa, Bihar, and Jharkhand has settled between 10 and 12 degrees. Now the harsh winter is about to begin. A low-pressure depression formed in the Bay of Bengal will strengthen into a depression and move toward Tamil Nadu. There will be heavy rain in these states
The Meteorological Department has informed by tweeting that moderate to heavy rains are going to occur in Andaman and Nicobar today i.e. on Friday. During this, winds will also blow at a speed of 30-40 kilometers per hour. Whereas, Coastal Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal will receive moderate to heavy rains for three days from November 20 to 22. A rain alert has been issued for the coastal areas of Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema on November 21 and 22.
Warning issued for fishermen
According to the Meteorological Department, fishermen are advised not to venture into the southeast Bay of Bengal adjoining the Andaman Sea and adjoining areas of the southwest and east-central Bay of Bengal on November 18. At the same time, do not go to the southwest and adjoining southeast and west-central Bay of Bengal on 19 November.
This weather system is active across the country
A low-pressure area has developed over the southeast Bay of Bengal and the adjoining north Andaman Sea. The associated cyclonic circulation extends up to 7.6 km above mean sea level.
It is very likely to move west-northwestwards and concentrate as a depression over central parts of the south Bay of Bengal during the next 48 hours.
A cyclonic circulation is seen over Kerala and neighborhoods in lower levels.
The Western Disturbance is over North Afghanistan and adjoining areas.
