Weather Update Today: Cold will increase in UP-Bihar, and rain warning in these states, know the weather across the country

Rapid changes are being seen in the weather. Where the cold has knocked in North India, there is still a possibility of rain in the states of South India. Snowfall in hilly states, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu-Kashmir, and Uttarakhand has brought down the temperature. On the other hand, heavy rain warning has been issued in Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Tamil Nadu, and Andhra Pradesh.

 

In North, Central, and Eastern India including UP-Bihar, where there is a continuous drop in temperature and the winter is increasing, there is no possibility of getting relief from the rains in the states of South India. According to the Meteorological Department, a low-pressure area has formed over the Bay of Bengal and is likely to concentrate into a disturbance and move over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and adjoining areas. Fall in temperature in these states including Delhi

According to Skymet Weather, the minimum temperature in Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Orissa, Bihar, and Jharkhand has settled between 10 and 12 degrees. Now the harsh winter is about to begin. A low-pressure depression formed in the Bay of Bengal will strengthen into a depression and move toward Tamil Nadu. Snowfall is possible again in the mountains.

 

There will be heavy rain in these states

The Meteorological Department has informed by tweeting that moderate to heavy rains are going to occur in Andaman and Nicobar today i.e. on Friday. During this, winds will also blow at a speed of 30-40 kilometers per hour. Whereas, Coastal Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal will receive moderate to heavy rains for three days from November 20 to 22. A rain alert has been issued for the coastal areas of Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema on November 21 and 22.

 

Warning issued for fishermen

According to the Meteorological Department, fishermen are advised not to venture into the southeast Bay of Bengal adjoining the Andaman Sea and adjoining areas of the southwest and east-central Bay of Bengal on November 18. At the same time, do not go to the southwest and adjoining southeast and west-central Bay of Bengal on 19 November.

 

This weather system is active across the country

 

A low-pressure area has developed over the southeast Bay of Bengal and the adjoining north Andaman Sea. The associated cyclonic circulation extends up to 7.6 km above mean sea level.

 

It is very likely to move west-northwestwards and concentrate as a depression over central parts of the south Bay of Bengal during the next 48 hours.

 

A cyclonic circulation is seen over Kerala and neighborhoods in lower levels.

 

The Western Disturbance is over North Afghanistan and adjoining areas.

 

The weather condition of Delhi-NCR

 

People are still troubled by air pollution in Delhi-NCR. The air in many areas of NCR including Delhi is still bad. According to the Central Pollution Control Board, the 24-hour air quality index in Delhi stood at 260, which falls in the 'poor' category. An AQI between 0 and 50 is considered good, 51 and 100 satisfactory, 101 and 200 moderate, 201 and 300 poor, 301 and 400 very poor, and 401 and 500 severe. . The AQI is likely to remain in the poor category even today.
