Sushant Singh Rajput had a huge fan following in Bollywood. On June 14, 2020, Sushant's body was found hanging on the fan in his apartment. The matter was handed over to the CBI for investigation and now, Maharashtra Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis has made fresh revelations in the matter.

In an interview with Republic, when asked about the CBI probe in Sushant Singh Rajput's case, Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said, “First of all, the information available was based on rumors. However, some persons claimed that they have enough evidence regarding the case. In response, we reached out to him and requested him to hand over the evidence to the police."

He further added that the matter is still being investigated and added, “As of now, we are in the process of examining the credibility of the existing evidence. The investigation is still ongoing and at this stage, it is too early for me to comment on the outcome of the matter.

Thereafter, the actor went on to act in hit films like MS Dhoni: The Untold Story, Kedarnath, Chhichhore, PK, and many more.
