On Friday, 78 patients arrived in the Emergency and 547 patients in the OPD of Heart Disease Institute with heart problems. 46 patients were admitted to this. Eight patients died during treatment in the hospital. At the same time, 10 patients died before reaching the hospital. He was declared dead by the doctors. Similarly, two patients died of brain stroke at LLR Hospital.
Increase in incidence of heart attack and brain stroke due to drop in temperature
A large number of heart attack patients and brain stroke patients arrived at LLR Hospital due to a drop in temperature. Originally, 42-year-old Ramchander, a resident of Hanumantakala Garhwa in Jharkhand, used to pull a rickshaw on rent in Babupurwa. Late on Thursday night, on the information of passers-by found him unconscious on the roadside at the Kidwai Nagar intersection, Babupurwa police took him first to LLR and later to Heart Disease Institute. In the postmortem report, it was revealed that the young man died due to a heart attack in the cold.
Trying to provide relief to patients by giving priority treatment
Dr. Vinay Krishna, director of Lakshmipat Singhania Heart Disease Institute, told that the number of heart patients is increasing due to colds. However, efforts are being made to provide relief to the patients reaching the hospital by giving priority treatment. Whereas, the Principal of GSVM Medical College, Prof. Sanjay Kala said that heart disease patients arriving in an emergency are being referred to the Heart Disease Institute without delay. At the same time, a team of doctors has been deployed for the treatment of brain stroke patients.
