2.48 lakh patients were cured in 24 hours, the highest so far; Only 67,660 gains in active case, its lowest in 14 days

In the last 24 hours, 3.19 lakh new corona were found infected and 2,762 infected people died in the country. However, it is a matter of relief that a record 2.48 lakh patients were also cured. This figure is the highest ever for those who have passed the infection. Active cases, that is, the increase in the number of patients being treated, are also seen to have some restraint. The previous day saw an increase of just 67,660 in the active case. This is the lowest in the past 14 days. Earlier, on April 12, the number of patients being treated had increased by 63,065.

Total new cases came in last 24 hours: 3.19 lakh

Total infected so far: 1.76 crores

Corona Updates

 

In Punjab too, the daily night curfew and lockdown have been announced on weekends from 6 pm to 5 am. Karnataka will have a 14-day lockdown from Tuesday, amid rising cases of the corona. Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa announced this on Monday.

 

The Lt. Governor of Puducherry has directed to close all liquor shops in the state by 30 April.

 

The Delhi government has decided that free vaccines will be given to people above 18 years of age. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said that we have approved to buy one crore 34 lakh vaccine in Delhi. One manufacturer of the vaccine said that they would give 400 to the state governments and another said that they would give the vaccine for 600 rupees and the central government for 150-150 rupees. It should have the same price.

 

State of major states

 

1. Maharashtra

 

On Monday, 48,700 people were found infected. 71,736 people recovered and 524 died. So far, 43 lakh 43 thousand people have been affected by the infection in the state. Of these, 36.01 lakh people have been cured, while 65 thousand 284 people have died. 6 lakh 74 thousand 770 patients are currently being treated.

 

2. Uttar Pradesh

 

On Monday, 33,551 people were found infected. 26,719 people were recovered and 249 people died. So far, 11 lakh 20 thousand people have been infected in the state. Of these, 8 lakh 04 thousand have been cured, while 11,414 patients succumbed. Treatment of 3 lakh 04 thousand is underway.

 

3. Delhi

 

In the country's capital Delhi, 20,201 people were found corona positive on Monday. 22,055 people recovered and 380 died. So far, 10 lakh 47 thousand people have been infected. Of these, 9 lakh 40 thousand have been cured, while 14,628 patients have died. 92,358 are undergoing treatment.

 

4. Chhattisgarh

 

On Monday, 15,084 people were found corona infected. 17,341 people recovered and 226 died. So far, 6 lakh 67 thousand people in the state have been infected. Of these, 5 lakh 38 thousand people have been cured, while 7,536 patients have died. Treatment of 1 lakh 21 thousand is underway.

 

5. Gujarat

 

On Monday, 14,340 people were found infected in the state. 7,727 people recovered and 158 died. So far, 5 lakh 10 thousand people have been infected. Of these, 3 lakh 82 thousand have been cured, while 6,486 patients have died. 1,21,461 patients are undergoing treatment.

 

6. Madhya Pradesh

 

On Monday, 12,686 people were found corona positive in the state. 11,612 people recovered and 88 died. So far 5 lakh 11 thousand 990 people have been infected. Of these, 4 lakh 14 thousand 235 people have been cured, while 5,221 people have died. 92,534 patients are undergoing treatment.
