ED has got 29 crore cash in the raid that lasted 18 hours. Three machines were installed for counting the notes. Along with this, 5 kg of gold has also been recovered.
On 23 July also, the ED raided the places of ministers Partha Chatterjee and Arpita. Rs 21 crore cash and jewelery worth Rs 1 crore were found in Arpita's house. Many bundles of Rs 500 and Rs 2000 notes were stuffed in bags and bags in a room. The agency also got the documents. Thereafter both were arrested.
Arpita did not pay the maintenance charge of the flat
In all, till now more than 50 crore cash and a large amount of gold have been recovered from both the houses of Arpita. Here, the ED has sealed one of the two flats located at Arpita's Belgharia Town Club. In the notice, Arpita has been given the reason for not paying maintenance of Rs 11,819. This information has been given by putting a notice outside his flat.
