After which the police had to lathi-charge on seeing the crowd suddenly turned violent.
CM Bommai told the conspiracy
After the attack, Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai told the media that the attack was well-planned. He had said that the organizations that carried out the attack should not forget that strict action would be taken against such incidents.
