Mamta then became the Chief Minister. He was sworn in on Wednesday. This is the third time she has been commanding Bengal. But an interesting incident happened during this time. The oath was heard between the Chief Minister and the Governor during the oath.

Time at half-past ten in the morning. Mamta Banerjee reached the town hall. Fifteen minutes later, Governor Jagdeep Dhankar arrived. Mamta was sworn in after about five minutes. The tradition of formal greetings was then played out between the two. Dhankar gave Mamta a bouquet. Mamta made some signatures and directly in front of the media.

Mamta thanked everyone and said ...

'Our priority is to fight the war against Covid. The first meeting is about my Covid only. Today, we will tell you what the state is doing for Covid by holding a press conference. I appeal to all political parties to maintain peace. There should not be any violent incident in Bengal. I am assuming that after today if there is any violent incident, then we will also take strong action. No person will be forgiven. I am in favor of peace. There was peace in Bengal, and it will remain. '

After this, Mike Governor Jagdeep Dhankar lifted ...

'I hope Mamata Banerjee will rule Bengal as per the constitution and law and order. It is expected that Mamta will work only to keep the constitution. The situation in Bengal and the country at this time and people are upset. In these circumstances, our priority is to stop this fruitless violence. It is impacting society in a big way. If the violence after the elections is for revenge, then it is against the constitution. I sincerely hope that the Chief Minister will take immediate steps to establish law and order.

Relief will be given by giving priority to those who have suffered harm, especially children and women. It is not an ordinary thing to become Chief Minister for the third consecutive time. I hope that the Chief Minister and my younger sister will stand up in these circumstances and deal with the challenges. There have been many such occasions in history when we have to rise above the party and the interests. I wish you and your team all the best. I hope that you will make such a system, in which the state will grow on the path of prosperity and development. '

The Governor had just finished talking that Mamta lifted the mic and said…

'For the last few days, the system of Bengal was in the hands of the Election Commission. The law and order were in the hands of the Election Commission. I have received violent news. The Election Commission is responsible for the incidents that have taken place in the last few days. We assure you that we will create a new system and there will not be any kind of violence in Bengal. '

11 dead in violence after elections in Bengal

There have been reports of bloody clashes between BJP and TMC workers in several districts of Bengal. About 11 people died in it. There have also been reports of arson in BJP's office and party workers' homes and shops. The BJP has filed a petition in the Supreme Court demanding the deployment of central forces to maintain law and order in the state. At the same time, a petition has been filed to investigate the violence with the CBI.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also expressed concern with Governor Dhankar about law and order. About 300 BJP workers and leaders from the state are also reported to have taken refuge in Assam.

Nadda administered oath to BJP MLAs in the Kolkata office

BJP MLAs who won the Bengal Legislative Assembly were sworn in by party president JP Nadda at an office in Kolkata. Nadda said that we will discharge the role of the opposition responsibly. The BJP will also oppose the Mamta government across the country. The party alleges that the Trinamool has come out on political violence after the election.

Mamta lost from Nandigram, may have to fight elections from any other seat

Mamta Banerjee will take over as the Chief Minister for the third time in the state. However, Mamta Banerjee herself has lost the election from the Nandigram seat. However, 66-year-old Mamata Banerjee may have to contest from a seat again. Earlier, on 20 May 2011, Mamta was sworn in as the Chief Minister for the first time on 20 May 2011 and for the second time on 27 May 2016.

TMC rule most after Congress, Left

Bengal ceded power to the Congress for 17 consecutive years from 1950, but when the state faced political turmoil in 1977, it elected the Left. After this, Bengal won the entire seven assembly elections, not one or two to the Left. The Left ruled the entire 34 years with an overwhelming majority led by the CPM.

When the Left ended, Mamata's Trinamool got power and she has been ruling Bengal with a comfortable majority for the last ten years. This time again she is returning with an overwhelming majority.
