Akshay Kumar: Akshay trolled on the announcement of the release date of the Hindi remake of Soorai Potru, users said - another disaster

Bollywood player i.e. Akshay Kumar has now announced the release date of his other new film. The actor will now be seen in the Hindi remake of South Superstar Suriya's film Soorarai Pottru. Radhika Madan will be seen in the lead role along with the actor in the film, but as soon as the release of the film was announced, users on social media started trolling Akshay and advising him not to make remake films.

 

However, the name of Akshay Kumar's film has not been announced. Currently, it is being called production number 27. Sharing a post, Akshay informed us about the release date of the film. The actor wrote in the caption, 'We are ready to fly. Production No. 27 is coming to theaters worldwide on September 1, 2023.

 

It was only after sharing this information that netizens targeted Akshay. Many users asked the actor not to remake films. One user wrote, 'Please stop making remake films.' While another wrote, 'Another remake.' Why do you select only to remake films? We need fresh content. One user wrote, 'More attention should be paid to quality than quantity. He takes his fee. Here the producer's money dies. At the same time, a user wrote, 'Improved even after a remake flopped.' One wrote, 'Another disaster will come.'

 

On the other hand, talk about the South film 'Soorarai Pottru', is one of the superhit films of Tamil. The film was released Direct to Digital on Amazon Prime Video in the year 2020, starring Suriya and Aparna Balamurali in lead roles. The film also won several awards. Now the Hindi remake will be released in theaters on 1 September 2023. It is being said that Surya will be seen in a cameo role in its Hindi remake. The film is directed by Sudha Kongara, who also directed the original Tamil film.
