E-commerce giant Amazon is preparing for massive layoffs globally. This process of retrenchment can start next week. According to the report, the company is planning to send about ten thousand people working in the corporate and IT sector back home this week. According to media reports, a large number of Indian employees will also come under retrenchment. The VSP document sent by the company to the employees states that the company is implementing a Voluntary Separation Program, under which AET is temporarily available to the concerned employees of the organization. The employees of the Company shall have the facility to voluntarily resign from service instead of VSP benefits as given below. The company has given the employees time till 6.30 am (6.30 am) till 30 November, the last day of this month, to accept the offer. According to reports, the seeds of the company's employees are resentful due to this layoff plan.
