Congress has already started making a strategy for the Lok Sabha elections to be held in 2024. Congress had to face defeat in the last two Lok Sabha elections and recently in the state assembly elections. In such a situation, Congress is now taking the help of political strategist Prashant Kishor. Congress President Sonia Gandhi has formed a panel of senior leaders to work on the suggestions of Prashant Kishor.

Congress' PK committee includes Digvijay Singh, Mukul Wasnik, Randeep Surjewala, KC Venugopal, P Chidambaram, Ambika Soni, and Jairam Ramesh. After yesterday, even today, a marathon meeting of these leaders was held on 10 Janpath. Within a week, this panel will send its report to Congress President Sonia Gandhi.

Suggestion to Congress to focus on 370 seats

It is being told that Prashant Kishor has suggested Congress contest elections alone in UP, Bihar, and Odisha. At the same time, it has been suggested to fight with an alliance in Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, and Maharashtra. It is being told that on the suggestion of Prashant Kishor, Rahul Gandhi has given his consent. Prashant Kishor has also suggested that Congress focus on 370 seats in the 2024 elections.

Significantly, senior Congress leaders should once again be in a meeting with Prashant Kishor on Tuesday. Congress interim president Sonia Gandhi also attended the meeting. This is the third meeting between Prashant Kishor and Congress leaders in the last four days. The first meeting was held on 16 April and after this, the second meeting was held on 18 April. Sonia Gandhi was also present in these meetings. It is being told that Prashant Kishor can join the Congress. Sources said that two more such meetings could be held in the coming days.
