Amit Shah, who reached Karnataka on a two-day visit, will be involved in the program for the birth anniversary of Shivakumara Swamiji.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah is off on a two-day Karnataka tour. Amit Shah's visit is considered important before the assembly elections to be held in Karnataka next year. Shah reached the airport in Bengaluru on Thursday night on his tour. State CM Basavaraj Bommai and BJP state president Nalin Kateel welcomed him.

Amit Shah will attend the program organized on the occasion of the 115th birth anniversary of Mahant Shivakumar Swamiji of Siddaganga Math at around 11 am on Friday. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi also visited this Math on Thursday to woo Lingayats.

 

I will give a gift of a 400-bed hospital

 

According to the Ministry of Home Affairs, Shah will also gift a 400-bed hospital at Sathya Sai village of Muddanahalli at around 2.20 pm. Shah will lay the foundation stone of the hospital. Shah will also attend the Karnataka State Cooperative Conference at Bangalore Palace at around 4 pm. Shah will also discuss with Chief Minister Bommai the expansion of the cabinet and the names of heads of boards and corporations.

Earlier, CM Basavaraj Bommai tweeted about Shah's arrival in Bengaluru on Thursday night. The CM tweeted some pictures with Shah and said, 'Welcome to the Home Minister. Many schemes will be discussed with Amit Shah.

 

The CM further said that it is a matter of great pleasure to welcome Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah Ji at the airport. Many upcoming schemes will be discussed with his advice and they will be implemented expeditiously.
