Amidst the crackdown on Amritpal and his associates in Punjab, patrolling on the India-Pakistan border has been increased suddenly by increasing the number of jawans. Intelligence agencies have revealed that Amritpal has links with Pakistan's intelligence agency ISI. Keeping this in mind, the vigil has been increased along the international border in Punjab. Please tell us that there is a 550-kilometer-long border with Pakistan from Punjab. Border Security Force (BSF) personnel are patrolling with fencing from vehicles and horses.

Police operation against Amritpal is going on. Raids are being done in many districts. Amritpal has run away by dodging the police. In such a situation, there is a possibility that Amritpal might cross the border and run away to Pakistan. This is the reason why the number of BSF personnel has increased along the 550-kilometer-long India-Pakistan border adjacent to Punjab. The border is being patrolled day and night. The police have also sealed all the roads leading to the border. An appeal has also been made to the villagers of the villages adjacent to the border that if any outsider is seen in the villages, they should immediately inform the BSF and police officials. Apart from the Hussainiwala border, Mamdot and Fazilka, security personnel are deployed at the Amritsar border.

On the other hand, according to intelligence agencies, the history of Amritpal's supporters is being probed. Punjab Police is also keeping a close watch on gangsters and criminal persons as these people are also in contact with ISI and terrorists sitting in Pakistan. Police are continuously taking out flag march. People are also being appealed to make peace. The police have urged people not to pay heed to rumors.
