Voice of Global South Summit: Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the Voice of Global South Summit.

 

Addressing the inaugural session of the second Voice of the Global South Summit, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said... We organized the Voice of the Global South for the first time in January... More than 200 G20 meetings were held in different states of India, we organized the Global South Summit. Gave prominence to the priorities of the South.

 

He further said that as a result, the topics of the Global South were included in the New Delhi Leaders' Declaration and we were successful in getting everyone's consent. I cannot forget that historic moment when the African Union got permanent membership in G20 due to India's efforts.

 

New challenges are emerging from the events in the West Asia region- PM

PM Modi further said that while addressing the inaugural session of the second Voice of Global South Summit, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, we all are seeing that new challenges are emerging from the events in the West Asia region. India has condemned the terrorist attack on October 7 in Israel. We have also exercised restraint. We have emphasized dialogue and diplomacy. We also strongly condemn the civilian deaths in the conflict between Israel and Hamas. We have also sent humanitarian aid after talking to Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas. This is the time when countries of the Global South must unite for the greater global good.

 

India will organize the ArtificiaI Global Partnership Summit

Addressing the inaugural session of the second Voice of Global South Summit, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that India believes that new technology should not widen the gap between the Global North and the Global South. In the era of Artificial Intelligence, technology must be used responsibly. To further promote this, India will organize the ArtificiaI Global Partnership Summit next month.
