ATS disclosure on Gorakhnath temple attack: Fearing arrest, Murtaza hurriedly planned a fidayeen attack, if weapons were not found, then bought Banka

Ahmed Murtaza Abbasi, who attacked the PAC jawans guarding the Gorakhnath temple in Gorakhpur, was soon going to be shifted to Canada. He was trying to escape from Canada, the stronghold of ISIS, Syria. Since it is necessary to follow strict rules and have a good bank balance to go to countries like Canada, Mortaza had deposited about 20 lakh rupees in bank accounts. But, this money was not received by him through foreign funding. The people of his family had put this amount in his account.

used to help terrorists

Murtaza was so impressed with ISIS that he not only gave his life but also sent money to help the terrorists. He had sent about 8 lakh rupees to ISIS through Nepal's bank accounts. He felt that he was helping the slaves in the path of Allah.

Different teams of ATS are interrogating Murtaza including his family and people who were in contact with him. His family members have themselves admitted in the ATS interrogation that Murtaza was about to go to Canada. However, the family also claims that he was preparing to go to Canada in connection with the job.

Having a bank balance and IELTS is proof of funds to pursue education or work in Canada. According to current regulations, bank balances must be at least 10,000 Canadian dollars, and to study in Quebec must be at least 11,000 Canadian dollars. At the same time, for a student visa, any undergraduate degree requires a minimum of 6 in each section of the IELTS (International English Language Testing System; a type of entrance test) and a minimum of 5.5 marks. For a post-graduate degree, you must have at least 6 marks in all four sections and an average of 6.5 marks.

Hafiz Abdul Rahman is Murtaza's helper

According to ATS sources, Hafiz Abdul Rehman, a resident of Chhutmalpur Muslim Colony in the Saharanpur district, is the facilitator of sending Murtaza to Syria via Canada after contacting ISIS. Hafiz Murtaza, originally a resident of Badkala in the Fatehpur area, was running a mobile shop in Chhutmalpur Muslim Colony. Murtaza was in constant touch with Abdul and has also been involved in several visits to Nepal and other places with him. ATS is also interrogating Hafiz Abdul by taking him into custody.

If the weapon was not found, then bought Banka for 700

At the same time, in the interrogation so far, it has come to the fore that when the ATS reached Murtaza's house on April 2, he got an idea that now he will be caught and it is difficult for him to escape. He informed this a suspect he was in contact with and prepared for the attack before being caught immediately. He knew that they would be caught, so he decided to attack and die. He immediately went to Nepal without thinking anything. Sources claim that weapons were to be provided to Murtaza on the Nepal border itself, but the person he had gone to meet could not be met.

mobile formatted before the attack

Waiting for the weapon, Murtaza came to his relative's house in Bansi and stayed in the night. However, the next day when he could not find the weapons even after the full time was over, he bought two bankas (sharp weapons) from Bansi itself for 700 rupees. Murtaza is so clever that he even formatted his mobile phone before the attack so that no record of him could be found if caught. After this, he reached Gorakhpur from Sonauli Road late in the evening and attacked the Gorakhnath temple on the way. At present, ATS is recovering data by taking possession of his mobile.
