He said that earlier the infection of Omicron's BA.2 sub-variant was being seen more in Delhi.

Currently, most of the samples are infected with BA.2.38 and BA.2.37 in genome sequencing. These are also sub-variants of Omicron, but the nature of the virus has changed slightly. So it has become more contagious than before. The good news is that most of the patients are getting the mild illness.
