Prime Minister Narendra Modi looks for opportunities to introduce the world to India's rich culture and heritage. The PM, who arrived in Germany to participate in the G-7 summit, presented invaluable objects of cultural importance to the heads of the world. The gifts that Modi presented included Dokra Art artwork, Meenakari, perfume box, marble table top, marble pot, Moon basket, and muslin mat.

The gifts given by PM Modi have a cultural history and tradition. These gifts bring out the identity of different parts of India and the specialty of the art. Kashmiri silk carpets are mostly made in the Srinagar area.
