Big action in Rajasthan SI Paper Leak case, former RPSC member who gave the paper to his children arrested; son and daughter also arrested

Big action has taken place today in the paper leak case of the Rajasthan Sub Inspector Exam 2021. Former Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) member Ramuram Raika has been arrested by the Special Operations Group (SOG) of Rajasthan Police.

 

Son and daughter already arrested

 

The SOG on Sunday arrested Raika's son and daughter along with three other trainees for being involved in the paper leak and securing a post in the exam.

 

ADG Sog VK Singh told PTI on Monday, "The former RPSC member was arrested on Sunday for providing sub-inspector recruitment exam paper to his children." Raika will be produced before the court on Monday to seek police remand.

 

The accused sent on remand

 

All the five arrested accused were produced before a court on Sunday, from where they were sent to police remand till September 7.

According to an official statement, the arrested trainees include Shoba Raika and her brother Devesh Raima. Both are children of former Rajasthan Public Service Commission member Ramuram Raika. The other three trainees include Manju Devi, Avinash Palsaniya, and Vijendra Kumar.

 

All five trainees were taken into custody from the Rajasthan Police Academy (RPA) and brought to the SOG office for questioning on Saturday.

 

Three chargesheets were filed against 61

 

So far, three separate chargesheets have been submitted against 61 accused in the Sub-Inspector Recruitment Exam 2021 case. According to the information, among the 61 accused, 33 are trainee sub-inspectors, 4 are selected candidates who did not join the service and 24 are their associates who were associated with the paper leak gang.
