Jain was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate on May 30 under sections of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act. Due to not getting bail, the difficulties of Satyendar Jain are increasing. Jain is currently lodged in Tihar Jail and has been kept in judicial custody. The court gave its verdict today at 2 pm. Earlier, the court had postponed the decision. Since morning there was a discussion about whether he would get bail or not. Before this, the court had postponed the decision due to non-preparation of the order. The court had reserved the verdict.

Jain said that he has been arrested because of becoming a minister, otherwise, he has not done anything wrong. He cited his health reasons for bail.
