BJP's big bet before Kerala election, 'Metro man' E Sreedharan may soon join party

BJP has played a big bet before the assembly elections in Kerala. E Sreedharan, popularly known as Metro Man, can join BJP soon. BJP has requested Sreedharan to contest assembly elections in Kerala. It has been learned from sources that during the BJP's Vijay Yatra in Kerala on February 21, BJP will join hands in the presence of Sudarshan of BJP President. Sreedharan, a 'Metro Man' awarded with Padma Shri and Padma Vibhushan, is known as a symbol of development in the country.

 

Early life and career
E Sreedharan was born in Karukaputhur village in Palakkad district. Born to the house of Neelakandan Musa and Ammaluamma, E Sreedharan got his initial education in a government school in the village. After this, he went to Kakinada in Andhra Pradesh for the degree of Senior Secondary Palghat and later Civil Engineering.

 

Initially, after studying, he became a teacher for some time but soon after qualifying UPSC started his services in Indian Railways. For which the Indian Railways always remembers him. The work of reconnecting the cyclone-destroyed Pamban bridge was completed by E. Sreedharan in record time.

 

Metro Man, the journey to become
It started with Kolkata Metro. After joining the Kolkata Metro in 1970, E Sreedharan's responsibility was to prepare its structure, design, and implement it. We all know the journey of Delhi Metro. E Sreedharan, who led the Delhi Metro to the heights, was associated as its managing director from 1995 to 2012.
