China has installed 3 mobile towers in the hot spring adjacent to the LoC. Konchok Stanzin, councilor of the Chushul region of Ladakh has shared this information on social media. Konchok said that China is building mobile towers near the border, which is not good news for India. China is already trying to capture India's land. China can use these towers for surveillance in Indian territory.
Konchok said that China is not deterring its antics. In the past, China had built a bridge over Pangong Lake and has now installed three mobile towers in the hot spring. Isn't this a matter of concern? Chushul Councilor said that there is no 4G facility in the villages of India where people live adjacent to the India-China border. In the area where I live, 11 villages are outside the 4G network service.
We are lagging by not paying attention to the development of the border areas. We have only one mobile tower whereas China has 9 towers.
On January 16, satellite images showed that China was building a new bridge on the other side of Pangong Tso Lake. Its length is more than 400 meters. The bridge is 8 meters wide and is close to a Chinese army base on the northern bank of Pangong. At the same time, India had objected to this action of China. India said it was maintaining surveillance.
India told the illegal occupation
Foreign Ministry spokesman Arindam Bagchi said China is building a bridge in an area that has been illegally occupied by China for the last nearly 60 years. India has never accepted such illegal occupation. Let us inform you that in 2020 there was a confrontation between Indian and Chinese soldiers in this area. Then some hospitals and military residences were seen in Chinese territory.
After the construction of this bridge, Beijing can get a military edge in this area. It has been an important center of confrontation between India and China in eastern Ladakh. Several rounds of meetings have also been held between China and India regarding the border dispute, but no solution could be found to the issue.
