Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami is in New Delhi. He had reached Delhi on Monday. During this, in an informal conversation with the media there, he said that the decision on Uniform Civil Code was taken in the first meeting of the cabinet immediately after the government was sworn in.

In this matter, a committee of jurists, retired judges, intellectuals of the society, and other stakeholders will be constituted. The committee will prepare a draft of the Uniform Civil Code. The scope of this law will be equal for all citizens, irrespective of the religion they believe in.

 

The Chief Minister said that stopping migration is also prominent in our resolutions. Along with this, the objective is to take the schemes of the central government to the person standing at the last end of society. He said that the government has made history. Breaking many myths, he has come back with a thumping majority.

 

On Tuesday, he will discuss the development of the state with many dignitaries including the Prime Minister. Earlier, on reaching Uttarakhand Sadan, the Chief Minister was warmly welcomed by the migrant Uttarakhand is.
