After the record-breaking heat of March, even in April, the heat of Delhi is in no mood to give relief. The Meteorological Department says that in the coming days, people will suffer more heat. Apart from Delhi-NCR, many states including Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Haryana, and Mumbai are facing severe heat. In Delhi-NCR, Maharashtra, Gujarat, and Rajasthan, the temperature has reached above 40 degrees Celsius. Heatwave conditions are likely to prevail over South Haryana, Delhi, and Uttar Pradesh from April 6 to 10, while in Gujarat, Jharkhand, and Madhya Pradesh during the next three days.

It can also increase by two to three days. Because of 'heat low' (surface air) in Barmer, Bikaner, and Jaisalmer of Rajasthan, a heatwave has been predicted till April 5.

A Cyclonic Circulation is persisting over South Tamil Nadu. A trough is extending from Vidarbha to Interior Tamil Nadu via Karnataka.
