Weather Update: No chance of relief from heat, know how the weather will be in Delhi, UP, Bihar today

After the record-breaking heat of March, even in April, the heat of Delhi is in no mood to give relief. In the first week of the month itself, the capital has been engulfed by heat, a yellow alert has been issued for the next week as well. The maximum temperature is likely to reach 43 degrees. The Meteorological Department says that in the coming days, people will suffer more heat. Apart from Delhi-NCR, many states including Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Haryana, and Mumbai are facing severe heat. In Delhi-NCR, Maharashtra, Gujarat, and Rajasthan, the temperature has reached above 40 degrees Celsius. Heatwave conditions are likely to prevail over South Haryana, Delhi, and Uttar Pradesh from April 6 to 10, while in Gujarat, Jharkhand, and Madhya Pradesh during the next three days.

The havoc of the ever-increasing heat in North India

Amidst the ever-increasing heat wave in North India, people in the capital Delhi can get some relief today. According to the Meteorological Department, there will be a lightly cloudy sky in Delhi today April 5. However, the temperature is not expected to change much. Apart from this, the heatwave will continue to prevail in states like Rajasthan, Haryana, etc. A partly cloudy sky will prevail in Delhi on Tuesday, but the temperature is still expected to remain at 39 degrees Celsius, due to the lack of rain and clear sky, the scorching heat and heat will continue throughout the week. In Punjab also people are facing the wrath of heat. The temperature is expected to reach 40 degrees Celsius in the state on Tuesday, people will have to face scorching heat throughout the day. On Tuesday, the weather will remain clear throughout the day and due to the temperature rise, the problems of the people are sure to increase. The heat wave is expected to wreak havoc in UP. It can also increase by two to three days. Because of 'heat low' (surface air) in Barmer, Bikaner, and Jaisalmer of Rajasthan, a heatwave has been predicted till April 5.

According to Skymet Weather, a Western Disturbance is over North and adjoining Central Pakistan. An Induced Cyclonic Circulation is persisting over Punjab and adjoining areas. A Cyclonic Circulation is persisting over South Tamil Nadu. A trough is extending from Vidarbha to Interior Tamil Nadu via Karnataka.

Heatwave conditions can occur in some parts of Himachal Pradesh and Haryana in western Rajasthan. Heatwave conditions are likely over East Rajasthan, East Madhya Pradesh, Delhi, and Jammu divisions.

These states may rain today

According to Skymet Weather, light to moderate rain at a few places is likely over Assam, Meghalaya, and Arunachal Pradesh. Light to moderate rain with one or two heavy rains may occur over the rest of Northeast India, Sikkim, and Kerala. Light rain is possible over Coastal Karnataka, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, and Interior Tamil Nadu.
