Ghazipur / Azamgarh: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said on Monday that construction of the six-lane Purvanchal Expressway will be completed by March and Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate it in April.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who went on a tour of related districts including Ghazipur and Azamgarh in Purvanchal to inspect the construction works of Purvanchal Expressway, said on Monday that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has shed the stream of all-round development of the country. , The result of the same is that "We are standing on Purvanchal Expressway".

 

 

Yogi said that after the creation of the Purvanchal Expressway, the people of Ghazipur will be able to reach Lucknow in three hours and Delhi in 10 hours.

 

 

Mafia are breaking their back

 

 

After reviewing the progress of the Purvanchal Expressway located in Dharwarkala village of Kasimabad tehsil, 40 km from the district headquarters, the Chief Minister said today, “The mafia in Uttar Pradesh had blocked the pace of development. Now the government is breaking their back by confiscating their illegal assets, which has given full momentum to the development work.

 

 

Yogi claimed that the campaign against Mafia will continue vigorously and the mafia will not be allowed to live in Uttar Pradesh. The Chief Minister ordered the officials to complete the work of government schemes, projects within time and bring its benefits to the common people so that people get practical benefits.

 

 

Tell people public welfare schemes

 

 

He appealed to the people's representatives to take the public welfare works of the people to the people so that the developmental image of Uttar Pradesh should be revealed to the people.

 

 

The Chief Minister said that the government is active in every way to protect the village, poor farmers, and women.

 

 

According to the news received from Azamgarh, Yogi Adityanath conducted a terrestrial inspection of the under-construction Purvanchal Expressway passing through the Mubarakpur area. He also inspected the underpass being constructed on the expressway itself. After this, a review meeting was held with UPDA, police, and administrative officials.

 

 

PM will inaugurate in April

 

 

After the meeting, addressing a public meeting on the expressway itself, Chief Minister Adityanath said that the construction work of the expressway is going on fast. By March 2021, the construction of the expressway will be completed and in April, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate it.

 

 

He said that despite the Covid, the expressway is being dedicated to the public within the time limit of three years. This model of development will become a center of attraction for the country and the world.

 

 

Azamgarh became the model of development

 

 

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that the image of Azamgarh was very bad four years ago. People here were not getting rooms on rent outside, but after four years the situation has changed and now Azamgarh is becoming a model of development. It is worth mentioning that in July 2018, Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone of the Purvanchal Expressway in Azamgarh.

 

 

According to the spokesperson of the government, this 340 km long expressway is being built from Lucknow to Ghazipur via Barabanki, Amethi, Ayodhya, Sultanpur, Ambedkar Nagar, Azamgarh, and Mau districts.
