Corona cases less than one lakh after 63 days: 87,295 new infected were found in the country, 1.85 lakh were cured; Total death toll crosses 3.5 lakh

Corona report of 87,295 people came positive in the country on Sunday. After 63 days, less than one lakh corona infections have been identified in the country in a day. Earlier on April 5, 96,563 people were found to be corona infected. The death toll is also coming down. In the last 24 hours, 2,115 infected people have lost their lives. This is the lowest in the last 46 days. Earlier on April 22, 2,257 people died. So far 3 lakh 51 thousand 344 people have lost their lives due to corona.

 

However, the good thing was that 1 lakh 85 thousand 747 people recovered from Corona on the previous day. In this way, there was a decline of 1 lakh 535 in the number of active cases, ie, patients undergoing treatment.

 

Parliamentary committees meeting canceled from July due to Corona

Meetings of various Standing Committees of Parliament may start in July. Due to the second wave of Corona, the meetings of the standing committees were not being held. According to sources, most of the members of Parliament, senior officers, and staff have now been vaccinated and the havoc of Corona in the country is also weakening. In such a situation, now these meetings can be organized from next month. Leaders of Congress and some other parties had sought permission for virtual meetings. However, fearing that the meetings would leak, both the houses turned down the demand.

restrictions like lockdown in 13 states

There are restrictions like complete lockdown in 15 states of the country. These include Himachal Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Mizoram, Goa, Telangana, West Bengal, and Puducherry. Strict restrictions have been imposed here as in the previous lockdown.

 

Partial lockdown in 19 states/UTs

There is a partial lockdown in 17 states and union territories of the country. That is, there are restrictions here, but there are also exemptions. These include Delhi, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Jammu, and Kashmir, Ladakh, Uttarakhand, Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Assam, Manipur, Tripura, Andhra Pradesh, and Gujarat.

The second phase of unlocking is starting in Rajasthan from June 8. The Home Department has issued the guideline of Unlock-2. Accordingly, the opening time of the market has been extended till 4 pm. A relaxation of 12 hours has also been given in the lockdown. Now the daily curfew time has been increased from 12 noon to 5 pm.

 

According to the UP Chief Minister's Office, the corona curfew has been lifted from all the districts in the state. Night curfew (7 pm to 7 am) will continue. Each district has less than 600 active cases. Presently 14,000 patients are undergoing treatment in the state.

 

In Kerala, the lockdown ending on June 9 has been extended by 7 days till June 16. However, no relief has been given regarding restrictions in the state.

 

The lockdown ending on June 10 in Andhra Pradesh has been extended till June 20. However, a relaxation of 2 hours has been given in the relaxation time of lockdown.

The Punjab government has extended the corona lockdown in the state till June 15. During this time, private offices and shops will be relaxed. Weekend lockdown will continue as before.

1. Maharashtra

On Monday, 10,219 people were found infected here. 21,081 people were cured and 340 people died. So far 58.42 lakh people have come under the grip of infection in the state. Of these, 55.64 lakh people have been cured, while more than 1 lakh people have died. Presently 1.74 lakh patients are being treated.

 

2. Chhattisgarh

On Monday, 1,279 people were found corona positive in the state. 3,309 people were cured and 26 died. So far 9.81 lakh people have come under the grip of infection. Of these, 9.47 lakh people have been cured, while 13,243 people have died. 21,224 patients are undergoing treatment.

 

3. Gujarat

On Monday, 778 people were found corona positive in the state. 2,613 people were cured and 11 died. So far 8.17 lakh people have come under the grip of infection. Of these, 7.90 lakh people have been cured, while 9,944 patients have died. 16,162 people are being treated here.

 

4. Uttar Pradesh

On Monday, 694 people were found infected here. 2,860 people were cured and 81 people died. So far 16.99 lakh people have been infected in the state. Of these, 16.62 lakh have been cured, while 21,333 patients have died. 15,681 patients are being treated here.

 

5. Rajasthan

On Monday, 629 people were found corona infected here. 3,429 people were cured and 31 died. So far 9.46 lakh people have come under the grip of infection in the state. Of these, 9.22 lakh people have been cured, while 8,687 patients have died. Presently 15,744 patients are undergoing treatment.

 

6. Madhya Pradesh

571 new cases were reported here on Monday. 1,782 people were cured and 32 people died. So far 7.85 lakh people have come under the grip of infection in the state. Of these, 7.68 lakh people have been cured, while 8,369 people died. 8,860 patients are currently undergoing treatment.

 

7. Delhi

On Monday, 231 people were found corona positive in Delhi. 876 people were cured and 36 died. So far 14.29 lakh people have come under the grip of infection. Of these, 13.99 lakh people have been cured, while 24,627 patients have died. 5,208 patients are being treated here.
