In Jawahar Navodaya School in the Kodagu district of Karnataka, 32 students have been found corona positive. Of these, 10 are boys and 22 are girls. All the students who are in the grip of infection are between the 9th to 12th standard. The School is in Madikeri, Kodagu.

 

Of these, 10 students showed signs of infection, while 22 did not show any symptoms of the corona. Apart from these, an employee of the school has also been corona infected.

The infected students are being treated at the district hospital. After getting such a large number of corona patients, all 270 students of the school have been tested for Covid-19. School principal Pankajashan told the media that none of the students who got infected are in critical condition and all are slowly recovering. The entire school campus has also been sanitized.

 

Collector took stock of the situation

According to the school management, the functioning of the school has been affected due to the spread of the infection, but talks are going on between the students and the teachers. On Thursday, the district collector, district medical officer, and other officials inspected the school.

So far, more than 3.42 crore cases of corona have been reported across the country. 3.36 crore people have been recovered, while 4.56 lakh people have died. On Wednesday, 16,351 people were found infected across the country while 16,351 recovered and 734 died.
