On Wednesday, 1066 new infections were confirmed. After 1 month, for the second time in a row, new cases in Delhi have crossed thousand. Earlier on June 29, 1066, new cases were found here.
The positivity rate crosses 10% in 8 states
In 8 states of the country, the positivity rate is more than 10 percent. These include Sikkim, Chandigarh, Puducherry, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Bengal, and Meghalaya. The positivity rate was recorded in Bengal at 10.42%, Himachal at 18.18%, Sikkim at 14.35%, Nagaland at 12.38%, Chandigarh at 10.64%, and Puducherry at 10.65. Meghalaya has recorded the highest positivity rate of 27.14%.
More than 5 lakh deaths due to corona in the country so far
Since the beginning of the corona epidemic in the country, 43 lakh 976 thousand 717 have been found infected, while 5 lakh 28 thousand 804 people have died.
