Corona Update: 17,699 new cases were found on the last day, 30 died; Delhi at number 5 in the country in terms of new infected

In the last 24 hours, 18,354 new cases of corona have been found in the country, while 30 people have died. At the same time, the number of active cases i.e. patients undergoing treatment is 138,548. On the previous day, 18,354 people also recovered from Corona. Earlier on Tuesday, 20, 557 cases were found and 44 people died.

 

At the same time, the capital Delhi has reached number 5 in terms of new infected. 1128 new infected have been found here on Thursday, while 841 people have been cured. On Wednesday, 1066 new infections were confirmed. After 1 month, for the second time in a row, new cases in Delhi have crossed thousand. Earlier on June 29, 1066, new cases were found here.

The positivity rate crosses 10% in 8 states

 

In 8 states of the country, the positivity rate is more than 10 percent. These include Sikkim, Chandigarh, Puducherry, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Bengal, and Meghalaya. The positivity rate was recorded in Bengal at 10.42%, Himachal at 18.18%, Sikkim at 14.35%, Nagaland at 12.38%, Chandigarh at 10.64%, and Puducherry at 10.65. Meghalaya has recorded the highest positivity rate of 27.14%.

 

More than 5 lakh deaths due to corona in the country so far

 

Since the beginning of the corona epidemic in the country, 43 lakh 976 thousand 717 have been found infected, while 5 lakh 28 thousand 804 people have died. The number of patients who have been cured of the corona has increased to 43,296,387. At the same time, India's corona vaccination coverage has exceeded 203.6 crores.
