
South's superstar Ajith Kumar starrer 'Valimai' has been released in theaters across the world on Thursday (February 24). This action-drama film is getting a tremendous response from fans and critics. According to the reports, the first show of the film in many theaters of South started at 4:00 am today, almost all the theaters are going full of the film's show house. Trade analysts believe that the film will earn a record on the first day.

According to reports, a petrol bomb was hurled at the fans of Ajith Kumar by an unidentified person at the Archana Theater in Coimbatore. After this, the police reached the spot and started an investigation.
The film earned a record of Rs 155 crore even before its release.
According to reports, theatrical rights of Ajith Kumar's film 'Valimai' have been sold for a total of Rs 96 crores globally. In such a situation, the film has already done a business of 96 crores globally before its release. With this figure, Ajith Kumar's 'Valimai' broke the record of his 2017 film 'Vivegam', which sold theatrical rights for Rs 85 crore.
According to reports, Ajith Kumar's film Valimai has earned around Rs 60 crore through satellite, digital platform, and music apart from theatrical rights. In this sense, Ajith Kumar's film has already done a business of Rs 155 crore even before its release.
Directed by H Vinoth, the film also stars Ajith Kumar-Huma Qureshi, Kartikeya, Yogi Babu, Sumitra, and Pugaz in lead roles. Ajith played the role of a cop in the film. The film is produced by Boney Kapoor.
