Corona Vaccination: More than 99 crore vaccine doses were given in the country, read how many vaccines were given in which month

Corona Vaccination: 100 crore doses of corona vaccine are going to be completed in India soon. According to the Union Health Ministry, more than 99 crore vaccine doses have been given in the country and 100 crore vaccine doses will be administered in the next one or two days. For this, there are enough vaccine doses in the country and the number of vaccines is increasing every month. In the corona vaccination campaign that started on January 16 this year in the country, 100 crore doses will soon be injected. Till 7 am on Tuesday, 98,67,69,411 doses of vaccine had been given. After the introduction of vaccination to Mangalavar, the vaccination has crossed the 99 crore dose mark, which includes the first and second doses.

 

According to the Cowin portal till Tuesday morning

 

- 51,02,46,292 doses of vaccine have been given to 47,31,98,232 women.

 

At present, three vaccines of corona are being given in the country – Covishield, Covaxin, and Sputnik. Out of which 86,95,55,742 doses, 11,30,66,398 of Covaxin and 10,43,017 of Sputnik have been given.

 

In the age group, 54,74,60,238 in the age group of 18 to 44 years, 26,71,90,118 in the age group of 45 to 60 years, and 16,90,14,801 people in the age group above 60 years are being given vaccine doses. It's over.

 

As part of the nationwide vaccination campaign, the Government of India is providing free Covid vaccines to the states and union territories. In the corona vaccination campaign, the central government is supplying 75% of the vaccines being produced by the vaccine manufacturers in the country free of cost to the states and union territories. So far, the central government has given 102 crore vaccine doses to the states and union territories, and still 10 crores 42 lakh doses are left for the states. According to the Union Health Ministry, the central government has given 1,02,05,09,915 vaccine doses to the states and union territories, out of which 10,42,38,220 vaccine doses are left with the states.

 

Vaccine availability is also increasing every month. According to the data released by the Ministry of Health, in these months the vaccine dose was given to the state in this way-

 

37 lakh 59 thousand vaccine doses in January

 

1 crore 5 lakh vaccine doses in February

 

5 crore 8 lakh vaccine doses in March

 

8 crore 98 lakh vaccine doses in April

 

6 crore 1 lakh vaccine doses in May

 

11 crore 97 lakh vaccine doses in June

 

13 crore 45 lakh vaccine doses in July

 

18 crore 38 lakh vaccine doses in August

 

23 crore 6 lakh vaccine doses have been given in September and 28 crore vaccine doses are likely to be available in October.

 

With the availability of vaccines, the speed of vaccination is also increasing.

 

- In April were 29 lakh 96 thousand vaccine doses went per day

It declined in May and it was 19 lakh 69 thousand per day.

In June, 39 lakh 89 thousand vaccine doses were done daily.

In July, this number increased to 43 lakh 41 thousand vaccine doses per day.

In August, this number increased further to 59 lakh 29 thousand doses per day.

In September, it has increased to 78 lakh 69 thousand.

 

That is, along with the availability of vaccination, the speed is also increasing. At the same time, the Union Health Secretary has held a meeting with the Health Secretary of the states and the Director of the National Health Mission through video conferencing for people to take other doses in vaccination. The central government asked the states to ensure complete vaccination i.e. both the doses. Union Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan has made it clear that states currently have enough vaccines that can be vaccinated.

 

So far a total of 6 corona vaccines have been allowed in India. AstraZeneca and Serum Institute of India's Covishield, Bharat Biotech's Covaxin, Russia's Sputnik, Moderna, and Johnson & Johnson's Vaccine and Zydus Cadila's Jayakov Di have so far received Emergency Use Authorization in India from the Drug Controller General of India. Out of this, three vaccines are available for vaccination.
