Coronavirus in India: 360 new cases of corona came in India within 24 hours, and 5 people died

Within the last 24 hours, 360 new cases of corona have been reported in India. Five people died during this period. The total number of corona cases in the country has increased to 4 crores 46 lakh 70 thousand 075 (4,46,70,075).

 

Five deaths have been reported in the last 24 hours including four deaths in Kerala and one death reported in Haryana in the last 24 hours. The death toll due to corona in the country has increased to 5 lakh 30 thousand 596 (5,30,596). These figures have been updated at 8 am today.

 

Reduction in active cases of corona

 

Active cases of corona in the country comprise 0.01 percent of the total infections. A decrease of 163 cases has been registered in active corona cases in a span of 24 hours. According to the website of the Union Health Ministry, the recovery rate from Corona in India has increased to 98.80 percent.

 

Corona's death rate is 1.19 percent

The number of people recovering (recovering) from the corona epidemic has increased to 4 crores 41 lakh 33 thousand 433 (4,41,33,433). The death rate of Corona has been recorded at 1.19 percent.

 

According to the Ministry's website, 219.87 crore doses of corona vaccine have been given so far in the country under the nationwide corona vaccination campaign.

 

Corona cases increased like this in the country

If we talk about how the cases of corona increased in the country, on August 7, 2020, 20 lakhs, on August 23, 30 lakhs, on September 5, 40 lakhs and on September 16, the number of corona cases crossed 50 lakhs. It crossed 60 lakhs on 28 September 2020, and 70 lakhs on 11 October. On October 29, 80 lakhs, on November 20, 90 lakhs, and on December 19, the figure of one crore was crossed.

 

India crossed two crore cases on 4 May 2021 last year and three crore cases on 23 June. Corona cases crossed the four crore mark on January 25 this year.
