Coronavirus Update: 406 new cases of corona found in India in the last 24 hours, active cases also declined

In the last 24 hours, 406 new cases of Covid-19 have been reported in India. The total number of cases has increased to 4 crores 46 lakh 69 thousand 421. At the same time, the death toll due to infection is 5 lakh 30 thousand 586. The Ministry of Health has given this information.

 

6402 active cases of corona in the country

406 new cases of the coronavirus have been reported in India, taking the total number of COVID-19 cases to 4,46,69,421, while the active cases have come down to 6,402, according to data updated on Monday by the Union Health Ministry. Huh.

 

11 people died in Kerala

The death toll reached 5,30,586. According to the data updated till 8 am, 12 people have died in the last 24 hours due to the infection. 11 people have died in Kerala and one in Rajasthan.

 

According to the ministry's website, active cases account for 0.01 percent of the total infections. At the same time, the death rate has been recorded at 1.19 percent. The national COVID-19 recovery rate has increased to 98.80 percent. A decrease of 87 cases has been registered in the number of active COVID-19 cases in a span of 24 hours. The number of people recovering from the disease increased to 4,41,32,433.

 

According to the website of the ministry, so far 219.86 crore doses of Covid vaccine have been given in the country under the nationwide vaccination campaign. COVID-19 cases in India crossed 20 lakhs on 7th August 2020, 30 lakhs on 23rd August, 40 lakhs on 5th September, 50 lakhs on 16th September, 60 lakhs on 28th September, 70 lakhs on 11th October, 80 lakhs on 29th October Lakh, 90 lakh on 20 November and crossed the one crore mark on 19 December. It crossed two crores on 4th May 2021, three crores on 23rd June, and four crores on 25th January this year.
