Coronavirus updated India: The risk of coronavirus has been reduced a lot in India. In the last 24 hours, 547 new cases of corona have been reported. After April 8, 2020, it has happened that so few cases of the corona were reported in a single day. Please tell us that on 8 April 2020, 540 corona cases were reported. With this, the number of people infected with Corona has increased to 4 crores 46 lakh 66 thousand 924 in the country. At the same time, the death toll from Corona has increased to 5 lakh 30 thousand 532.

 

Corona cases lowest since April 2020

According to the data updated by the Union Health Ministry on Monday, 547 new cases were reported in a day in India which is the lowest since 8 April 2020. For the first time since April 2020, the number of active cases has fallen below 10,000. While the number of deaths due to infection has increased to 5 lakh 30 thousand 532. According to the data updated at 8 am, one death from Corona occurred in Maharashtra.

 

The number of active patients decreased

According to the website of the Ministry of Health, the number of active patients infected with the coronavirus in the country has increased to 9 thousand 468, which is 0.02 percent of the total cases. The national recovery rate of patients has increased to 98.79 percent. The data shows that a decrease of 2,839 corona cases has been registered in 24 hours. The number of people recovering from corona has increased to 4 crores 41 lakh 26 thousand 924, while the death rate has been recorded at 1.19 percent.

According to the website of the ministry, 219.80 crore doses of vaccines have been given so far in the country under the nationwide Kovid-19 vaccination campaign. India's number of corona infections crossed 20 lakh on August 7, 2020, 30 lakh on 23 August, 40 lakh on 5 September, 50 lakh on 16 September, 60 lakh on 28 September, and 70 lakh on 11 October.
