The Union Health Ministry said on Tuesday that a total of 625 new corona patients were found in the country in the last 24 hours. This number is the lowest in 31 months since April 9, 2020. During this period 540 cases were registered in the country.
According to the ministry, the total number of corona infected in the country has gone up to 4 crores 46 lakh 62 thousand 141. At the same time, the number of active patients of Corona has become 14,021. This number is slightly higher than in April 2022. Health Ministry officials believe that in the next two-three weeks, the number of active patients will come down below 5 thousand. Then we can be sure that the country is now very close to being corona free.
Corona deaths decreased in India
The daily deaths due to corona in India are now just 0.24%. That is, out of 400 new patients, only one patient is dying.
