Michael Jackson’s biopic, Michael, was released in India on April 24, 2026. The film was produced by Michael Jackson’s nephew, Jaafar Jackson, who also stars in the lead role as Michael Jackson. The film is receiving an immense amount of love worldwide. Recently, Jaafar took to social media to thank people for the accolades and congratulations pouring in for the film.

Sharing a post on Instagram, actor Jaafar Jackson expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the audience. He conveyed his joy regarding the love his portrayal has been receiving. He wrote, “Wow, this is truly incredible to witness. The whole world has weighed in, and everyone is showing their love. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I couldn’t be happier or more grateful.”

Several celebrities also reacted to his post. Actor Anupam Kher commented, “You are magnificent. Beyond belief.” Meanwhile, choreographer Farah Khan wrote, “You looked amazing. You didn’t just play the role of Michael; you truly became him.” Additionally, renowned rapper Snoop Dogg reacted to the post, sharing fire and crown emojis to commend his acting performance.

The film Michael is a biopic of the dancer Michael Jackson. It chronicles Michael Jackson’s life from his early days right up to his final moments. The film depicts his struggles, his subsequent rise to success, and his journey to becoming a global superstar.

 

 

Michael is directed by Antoine Fuqua. Michael Jackson’s nephew, Jaafar Jackson, plays the pivotal lead role; this marks his feature film debut. The cast also features Nia Long, Juliano Valdi, Laura Harrier, Mike Myers, Jessica Sula, Miles Teller, and Colman Domingo in key supporting roles.
