The concern of the people of Delhi-NCR has also increased after the case of Omicron's XE variant came to light in Gujarat, as other business activities have also become normal with the opening of schools here.

In the latest cases, more than a dozen students were found infected with a corona in several schools in Noida and Ghaziabad adjacent to Delhi, in which one student is a resident of Delhi and she studies in a private school in Ghaziabad. This student has recently returned from her parents' visit to Jammu and Kashmir.

Not only in Delhi but the cases of corona have increased in the cities of NCR including Noida, Ghaziabad, Gurugram, and Faridabad. In such a situation, questions have started to arise, will the XE variant of Omicron bring the fourth wave of corona across the country including Delhi-NCR?

Experts are not categorically denying the arrival of the fourth wave in India, they say that the fourth wave will not be as dangerous as the previous three waves. Because of the situation, Union Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan has asked Delhi and other state governments to regularly monitor the areas with the potential spread of infection and take necessary action.

XE variant spreads 10 times faster, Delhi-NCR needs to be cautious

Experts have claimed about Omicron's XE variant that it spreads about 10 times faster. In such a situation, if it comes to India, it can spread rapidly, because all the cities of the country including Delhi, Mumbai, and Kolkata are densely populated.

The last three waves in Delhi and Mumbai had created a ruckus. Experts say that the XE variant is a mixed strain of Omicron's two sublineages BA.1 and BA.2. In such a situation, the World Health Organization has described the XE variant as 10 times faster to spread.

Experts say that the rules of physical distance and wearing of masks are breaking fast, in such a situation there is a possibility of a fourth wave due to the XE variant in India.

heart problems

Experts say that the characteristics of the XE variant, which is made up of two subvariants of Omicron, are very similar to Omicron. It has little to no smell and tastes like a delta.

Apart from fever and cough, symptoms such as shortness of breath, body ache, headache, sore throat, and runny nose are seen in the sufferers of the XE variant. Apart from this, increased fatigue, dizziness, palpitations, and loss of smell and taste have also been included in its symptoms.

Experts say that if anyone sees these symptoms, then they should get tested immediately, as this will help in preventing its spread.

don't be afraid be careful

Dr. SK Sarin, VC of LBS, a well-known hospital in the capital of the country, said in a conversation with a well-known TV news channel that the coronavirus is still present in the country and the world and it has not gone. In this case, caution is necessary. If Corona comes again then the situation will be worse.

In such a situation, people have to be careful. At the same time, cases of corona are increasing again in Delhi and NCR. In such a situation, it is necessary to apply a mask, as well as it is necessary to get the vaccine. This will make the fight against Corona easier.

Corona cases found in Ghaziabad and Noida schools

Corona cases are increasing continuously in Delhi. During 24 hours on Monday, 137 cases of the corona were reported in Delhi and 144 patients were cured. It is a matter of relief that no patient has died in 24 hours. Due to this, after 59 days, the infection rate of corona exceeded two percent.

The infection rate was 1.29 percent a day ago, which has now increased to 2.70 percent. This infection rate is the highest in 65 days. Earlier on February 5, the infection rate was 2.85 percent. After this, on February 11, the infection rate had come down to less than two percent.

Despite the increase in infection rate, cases have not increased much yet. This is because investigations are decreasing. Overall, there has been an increase in corona cases by 27 percent in Delhi.

Meanwhile, the Health Department sent a report to the government on Monday after investigating after nine children were found corona infected in two schools located in Indirapuram and Vaishali in Ghaziabad, adjacent to Delhi. In the report, instead of five, nine students have been found infected. Of these, three students are from Ghaziabad and two are residents of Delhi.

At the same time, 13 students and three teachers have been found corona infected in The Khaitan School located in Noida Sector-40. After this, the school has been closed. Classes will run online.

Now offline classes will start on April 18. The school has issued guidelines to the parents regarding this. The students of the seven sections of which have been found corona infected. All the students associated with them will have to bring the antigen-negative report of Corona.
