CM Stalin expressed concern and gave advice to educational institutions
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin has also expressed concern over the death of the girl students. CM Stalin said that the recent incidents of student suicide in the state are painful. Educational institutions should take education as a service and not a profession. The Chief Minister said that students in schools should be taught to deal with any situation. Stalin said that students should not have thoughts of committing suicide and should think of achieving more.
A day before the famous school of Kilacchery was found dead
Earlier on July 25, the body of the girl student was found in the hostel of Sacred Heart Girls Higher Secondary School, Kilacchery. Following the incident, the victim's parents and relatives staged a protest in Thekkaloor and blocked the Thekkaloor road. The anger of family members and relatives has erupted against the school and the administration. Let us tell you that in one such incident last week, the body of a girl student was found on the school premises. After which there was a lot of ruckus across the district. There were large-scale demonstrations, vandalism, and arson. A senior Tiruvallur police officer had said that it was too early to confirm anything except that it was a case of suicide. We are investigating it.

The development comes a few days after the tragic death of another Class 12 girl in Tamil Nadu's Kallakurichi. A 16-year-old girl was killed in a private school hostel. The girl's parents suspected murder, while the police ruled it a suicide. The protest turned violent over the death of the student. The school was ransacked and police and school vehicles were set on fire. Around 52 police officers were also injured in the incident. The SIT was constituted for the investigation on the instructions of the Madras High Court.
