Former cricketer Srikkanth has selected 6 batsmen in his team for the World Cup 2023. Srikkanth has announced the names of Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill, Ishan Kishan, Virat Kohli, KL Rahul, and Suryakumar. Surprisingly, Srikkanth has not picked Shreyas Iyer, who is back from injury, in his team. Shreyas Iyer has been selected for the Asia Cup.

Ashwin was not given a place in the team

Srikkanth has selected four bowlers. It includes Jaspreet Bumrah, Mohammed Shami, and Shardul Thakur. Srikkanth has also given place to Mohammad Siraj in the team.
