The coronavirus is taking a fatal form in Uttarakhand. The double mutant virus has been confirmed in Dehradun amid the second wave of Corona. It has confirmed UK strains in two samples and other strains in one. These samples were sent for the NCDC Delhi investigation in March. Dr. Deepak Juyal, Co-Investigator of VRDL Lab of Doon Medical College, said that the double mutant virus has been found in the samples sent for genome sequencing. The recovery rate has reached 81.54 percent due to the reduced number of patients recovering compared to the infected.
The corona investigation is not being done in Doon Hospital
Corona samples could not be taken even at the Government Doon Medical College Hospital on Monday.
