CTET July 2024: The Central Board of Secondary Education has extended the last date for submission of application forms for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET 2024). Candidates wishing to become teachers of classes 1 to 8 can now apply for the CTET July exam by visiting the official website ctet.nic.in till 05 April.
The latest update reads, “The last date for submission of online application for CTET-July, 2024 has been extended to 05/04/2024 (before 11:59 PM). Candidates can now apply for CTET 2024 July session You will be able to register on the official website ctet.nic.in till April 5. Applicants facing any technical problem while filling out the CTET application form can contact 8802580447.

As per the schedule, the CTET July exam will be conducted on July 07 in two shifts. Paper 2 will be conducted in the first shift from 9.30 am to 12 noon and Paper 1 will be conducted in the afternoon shift from 2 pm to 4.30 pm. CTET qualifying certificate is valid for lifetime for all categories.
Where will the CTET score be applied?
Scores are applicable at the following institutions:
CTET scores apply to central government schools like Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS), Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS), Central Tibetan Schools and.
The same will apply to schools under the administrative control of Union Territories Chandigarh, Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Daman-Diu and Andaman-Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep, and NCT Delhi.
CTET certificate is also considered valid by unaided private schools.
Schools owned and managed by state governments, local bodies, and aided schools can consider the TET conducted by the state government. However, if a state government decides not to conduct State TET then it can also consider CTET.
As per CBSE affiliation bye-laws, the minimum qualification of teachers to teach various subjects from classes 1 to 8 in schools affiliated to the board should be CTET-qualification as per NCTE guidelines or TET conducted by the state government.
