Today is the sixth day of the Commonwealth Games. The whole of India will once again expect medals from the players. Nikhat Zareen and Helen Jones will face each other in the minimum weight of 45Kg-48Kg boxing from 10:30 tonight. At the same time, at 12:30 pm, Lovlina Borgohain and Rosie Eccles will compete in the boxing 66Kg-70Kg minimumweight qualifier.
India and Sri Lanka will compete in the mixed doubles round of 32 of squash from 1:30 pm today. On the fifth day, Team India defeated South Africa 17-10 in the final of the Women's Lawn Balls to win the gold medal. Indian players Lovely Choubey, Pinky, Nayanmoni Saikia, and Roopa Rani Tirkey performed brilliantly in the final match.
