Four years later, Corona remains a major risk to global health. An increase in its cases has been seen from time to time. After November-December 2023, the pace of Corona seemed to be controlled, although in recent reports there is news of infection increasing once again.

An increase in cases of infection has been reported for the last two days. Not only this, but for the first time since May 2023, a jump in cases of infection has been recorded in a single day in the national capital Delhi. According to Thursday's report, 63 new cases of coronavirus have been reported in Delhi.

Along with Delhi, an increase in cases of infection is also being seen in other northern states including Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, and Bihar. 459 cases of Covid-19 have been reported in Delhi in the last 15 days. According to the data of the Union Health Ministry, there has been a surge in infections in Rajasthan Recently, Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma was also found infected with Corona. Health experts have advised all people to continue taking precautions to prevent corona.

Alert regarding increasing infection

Experts say that due to fluctuations in temperature and the infectivity rate of new variants, a surge in coronavirus cases is being seen again. In recent studies regarding Corona, health experts had expressed concern and said that the virus is continuously mutating to keep itself alive, in such a situation there may be a danger of new variants emerging in the future and a surge in the number of infected people.

Even though you have been vaccinated, it is still advised to continue taking precautions to prevent corona.

Omicron's JN.1 variant is the main reason

Health experts say new mutants of Corona may be more infectious than before and due to this, there is a possibility of an increase in cases of infection. At present, the JN.1 variant of Omicron is mainly considered to be the main reason for the increase in coronavirus cases in the last year. The infectivity rate of this variant has been seen to be high but it is not causing serious diseases.

However, the big question is that summer is now beginning in North India, what could be the reason for the surge of infection in a high-temperature environment?
