According to the website, countries such as the US, Canada, Australia, Germany, and Spain are lagging far behind the set target. Countries can implement the Paris Agreement's ambitious targets by reducing emissions domestically and helping other poorer countries reduce emissions at a lower cost, said Yann Robbieu du Pont, the website's principal researcher.
