During this, his average was 43, in which he scored 12 centuries and 35 half-centuries. He finished as the 12th-highest run scorer for Australia in ODI career.

 

In the year 2016, Steve scored the highest score of his career (164 runs) against New Zealand. When he made his debut, he did it as a leg-spinning all-rounder and he took 28 wickets in ODIs and took a total of 90 catches.

Test cricket remains a priority and I'm really looking forward to the World Test Championship final and then England on home ground. I think I still have a lot to contribute on that stage."
